Artist, Fish Biologist, Mother
Coming from a family of fisherman it was no surprise that Jenna would follow suit. Inspired by the colors in nature she took one passion and wove it into another. Taking a closer look at the fish she was studying she was inspired by not only their color but structure and uses that inspiration for her art.
Jenna is a fishery technician in Washington, walking rivers and getting paid for it!!! This is still a male dominated industry, but she does feel like there has been a jump in women entering the field in the last 10 to 15 years. She also feels like there has been a shift and that it is no longer necessary to, as a woman, maintain a masculine mentality to make it in her field
